*Date and time of your event can be secured with a deposit of the total cost of the event.
Travel charge will be applied to cost outside of Lafayette, Louisiana.

Magic Show:
40 minutes of fun filled, interactive comedy and magic specifically designed for children 3 to 13 yrs of age. The Magic Show will have guests talking about your party for months afterward. Total cost: $100.00
Big Bubble Show add-on: I show you and your guests how I make the biggest bubbles you have ever seen right in your living room. No mess and a great photo opp with the birthday child. For $10.00 more you can add Big Bubbles to the Magic Show. The bubble show can only be performed inside.
The Big Show:
The Big Show consists of a 25 minute comedy magic show, 5 minute juggling performance, the Big Bubbles show and then each child receiving a 2 balloon creation. The total running time is one hour for up to 25 children. Total Cost: $140.00
Talents listed below are available for birthday parties and large events where lots of guests are expected.
Multiple talents scheduled for 3 hours or more individually receive a discounted rate.
Magic Show: See above. Total cost: $100.00
Balloonists: Balloon artists can make balloon sculptures for an average of 40 guests per hour. Some of the most requested sculptures being Poodle On A Leash, Space Guns, Flower with Hearts, Swords and Sword belts. Total cost: $125.00 per hour
Ventriloquist: A master at his craft, known around the world as the Great Boudini from KADN Fox 15. The ventriloquist show is fun, interactive and sure to be the highlight of any event. Available for big and small audiences. Total cost: $125.00 per hour
Face Painters: Face Painters can paint an average of 15 faces per hour or 5 faces per 20 minutes, and are trained to paint faces
to look like Lions, Tigers, Fairies, Butterflies, Spider-man and that’s just to name a few. Total cost: $125.00 per hour
Glitter Tattoos: Glitter tattoo artist hand paint special stencils cut into styles of your choice. Smaller and quicker to apply than face painting, tattoo artist can accommodate up to 30 guests per hour. Great when you expect lots of guests. Total cost: $125.00 per hour
Strolling Magicians: Our strolling magicians interact with the different groups at your event using close-up magic and comedy to create a fun atmosphere that is fun for everyone. Total cost: $125.00 per hour
Caricaturists: Our artists are trained professionals who can draw personalized images in character of your likeness. Makes for a great keepsake. Can serve an average of 15 guests per hour. Total cost: $125.00 per hour
Clowns: our clowns are multi-talented at balloons, face painting and glitter tattoos! Total cost per hour: $135.00
Additional time: Need more time for services but don't need another hour?
After the hour talent can be schedule in 15 minute increments at the rate of $31.25 per quarter hour.

Sample Contract
Client requests that MLR Magic provide The Big Show service, which consists of a comedy magic show, balloon sculpture, juggling, and big bubble demonstration. This service is provided at the rate of $140.00 an hour. Should you need the talent to stay longer than the one hour to accommodate extra guests, the additional charge would be in quarter hour increments at the rate of $31.25 per quarter hour which could be collected from you upon completion of our services or billed to you the following business day for payment. A deposit of the full amount is required to reserve the services described above. Personal checks will be cashed 2 weeks before your event. We would prefer the place of your event to be indoors and air conditioned or heated depending on the season. Please make sure there is adequate space for the children to sit in front on the floor or on chairs and the adults to sit or stand comfortably in the back. In the case, where MLR Magic is scheduled to perform outside we ask to be put under relative cover, should MLR Magic be unable to perform due to weather conditions and no alternative sight is available, you the client forfeits the deposit. In the event that the talent scheduled for your event does not show, MLR Magic will give a full refund of your deposit for that talent.
Cancellations: To cancel your reservation, a one month notice from the date of your event is required to receive your deposit back in full. Events canceled within 30 days of your event will receive a refund of one-half of the total cost of your event only.
Due to insurance purposes Mitchell Richard will not give balloons to children under 3 years old. For 3 yr. old and younger children to receive a balloon an adult must be with the child, at which point I will hand the balloon to the adult who can then give the balloon to the child.
Because MLR Magic books multiple events in one day usually back to back, it is important that we maintain our schedule, we cannot delay the start of the magic show to accommodate guests who arrive late. We recommend that you start your event at least 45 minutes before we are scheduled to arrive and prompt your guests to arrive on time. We will arrive at the designated address of the event 10 minutes before start time to set up the magic show and will begin the show promptly at the time specified on this contract.
